Hatred is like the air we breathe. It surrounds us in our daily lives. It is in our community, our schools, and sometimes even our homes. There are times that people don't love eachother no matter what, and in some cases, the hatred is so powerful that not even your own blood- the people that are supposed to mean the world to you,can overcome it. Same races and heritages have this problem as well. Similar blood runs through them, yet they can't put up with their same type at times. In the novel, "Their Eyes Were Watching God," Zora Neale Hurston mentions that, "Most humans[don't] lover another nowhow, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time." I, personally, couldn't agree more.
When we are born, we are taught that our family is supposed to be put before anything and everything. We are supposed to love them, cherish them, and respect them. In some cases, this does not exist in families. For the most pointless reasons, families can have this hatred for eachother that you wouldn't even think that the same blood runs through each of their veins.
It's not just our families. By common blood it can also be the same race or the same heritage. Common blood is shared one way or the other, yet, they detest eachother. Why do you think there are so many wars? So many killings? For instance, not too long ago, two boys burned an innocent child of their own race just because he owed them money. How can someone do this? The hatred and resentment can be so strong that it can lead to disastrous happenings.
Where is the love?

Quote: "Most humans [don't] love one another nohow, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time." ~ Zora Neale Hurston
Ever reflected back and felt like even sometimes the people you consider the closest sometimes can be people you feel hatred for? In the novel Their Eyes Were Watching God the author states "Most humans [don't] love one another nohow, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time." the author is stating that the majority of humans believe they love someone but that they are misunderstanding what love really is for hatred; even, for the people who are of the same blood and or kind.
As teenagers I think many of us can relate to this quote 100%. Not to say we are spoiled or ungreatful but realize most teen's tend to rebel and feel hatred towards their parents when they don't recieve what they want. This is a love misused. Love is a feeling in which one feel caress for one another through the good and bad this exemplefies how Zora Neale Hurston quote is absolutely accurate.

Love is a beautiful overpowering feeling that takes over every cell in your body. I truly feel pity for those that have never experienced it. But lately it seems that most have more ugly hatred in them than love; more so we tend to forget that no matter what we look like on the outside the blood that courses through us is all the same, you can never distinguish one blood from the other just by looking at it.
There is a reason as to why god put us all in an enclosed space, and we are not spread out over the galaxies. We are his children if he loves us through all our sins can we not love each other as well? As morrie said "We must love each other or die" Recently one brother killed another over the volume of music on a computer. These were two boys who came from the same womb who lived there whole lives together. Now one is in jail for the rest of his life and the other one is six feet under. Can you imagine the pain that these parents must be feeling because their sons gave in to petty hatred?

“Hate and force cannot be in just a part of the world without having an effect on the rest of it.” I do agree with it the quote. In today’s world hate has filled our lives and has overpowered life's most beautiful emotion: love. The ability to love one another has disappeared and become almost a myth or fairytale. The part about common blood has the most impact on the quote because of its honesty and the fact that its 100% true.
Everywhere, everyday you hear on the news of siblings killing each other which serves as an example. Another example that supports the quote above is how people are able to kill each other because of color, race, etc even though the same blood that runs through our veins connects us.
Diana, Period 6
Hatred is everywhere. Family is supposed to be loved and cherished, yet most people choose to hate one another. This quote by Zora Neale Hurston is true because not even the people who we should love, the ones closest to us, can overcome the hate we have towards someone. Lately there have been many cases in which prove this quote. For instance, there was two siblings fighting and one decided to kill the other out of anger. Also, a student stabs his classmate and this is another example that helps defend my position. We are surrounded by hate. Discrimination, murder and violence towards each other are all caused because of hatred.
Crystal Period #6
Hatred has absolutely replaced love. Before, you would see many friends and family members helping each other being together, but now mostly everything that is heard is something tragic. For example in the news most of the time is about something bad that happened to someone. You would think that only strangers would kill you or rob you, but now even friends are doing it. We have to try to bring back all the love and peace that we had before.

P.6
Hatred is a ghastly, horrific malady that can infect even the purest of hearts. It consumes ravenously, showing no mercy. It enslaves minds and swallows souls whole. Although this malice is indeed powerful, it can only absorb those willing to give in. Notice the key word here: can.
Take the white supremacists, for example. This group consists of weak, insecure people that point fingers at others for their own faults. They commit unspeakable race hate crimes that not only affect the victims, but also their families and friends. One of their stories, portrayed in “Boy in the Striped Pajamas”; a tale of innocence lost and sheer hatred. In this story, set in World War II, the protagonist’s (only 7 years old) father is an SS Commandant who moves the family next to a concentration camp. There, the boy, Bruno, becomes friends with a Jewish boy named Shmuel. One day, Shmuel’s father goes missing, so Bruno goes to the concentration camp to help look for him. Dastardly, they are both put into a gas chamber and died. Although this tale is fictional, it gives us an insight on similar cases. This shows that hate not only affects the “enemy”, but also, their very own families. Unfortunately, in many cases, the innocent are the ones which pay the highest price.
While hatred will forever be present in our life, the will to do right will always be there to fight back. Only the strong will persevere.
Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated and I believe It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not, but if your being true to who you are why do people hate so much and judge you when your being truthful? Is it because your not of the same race and heritage as them? As sadly as this sounds, this is happening everyday all around us. Even in commen blood, hatred can exsist simply because two brothers fell in love with the same woman and instead of talking things out, they gain this obsessive dislike so strong that it demands an action. It is said that family is the most important thing one can believe in, after god. In the novel, "Their Eyes Were Watching God," Zora Neale Hurston mentions that, "Most humans[don't] lover another nowhow, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time." I agree completely with this.
As we grow up, we are taught respect and morals, but most of this has disappeared. Hatred is such a big part of the daily life that its everywhere, we have wars, discrimination towards people, because they are african american or hispanic, and even those of different sexual orientations. I once read a non fiction book called "A child called it", about woman that had a child because of a rape, she treated him so horrible, tortured him, made him clean bathrooms with toxic liquids until he would faint and not feed him for days. Her hatred for the person that raped her was so big that she let it all out on an innocent child. We cant change the way people think but we can start with ourselves. Like Martin Luther King, Jr once stated, "I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear."

God has all given us amazing qualities such as, love, affection, care, and kindness. He has given the power to all humans to be able to demonstrate these qualities. In my opinion, love is the most important out of all of them. Unfortunately, throughout families, love is not present. It is something forgotten and taken for granted. The saddest thing is to see a family separated by hate and despair. It occurs, sometimes, that common blood is separated by a single person.Maybe this person has a something againist one specific person in the family and turns everybody againist that person. As time progresses, communication is lost and love is an emotion very far away.In other instances, hate is developed because of a conflict or something really insignificant.Hate can dominate humans. If there is no love, there is nothing.

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "Hate and force cannot be in just a part of the world without having an effect on the rest of it." We've all experienced at a point in our life's. When we cannot apologize for something no matter how close or related we are. That where part of the quote of "... that even common blood can't overcome it all the time. " Love is a quality given to everyone and the person themselves need to find when and how to use it. Yet, their is families that don't have the luxury of having love present at there homes. This could of occur due to many miscommunication or hatred. For instance, it could happen because of the daughters indiscipline or the parents. In our society nowadays influence is a strong cause. In this case, causing that one person to make the whole family turn against each other. When this occurs, the hardest thing to do is apologize and not even knowing that their family can help that out because if the love doesn't exist is even harder. Thats why I'm towards the quote completely. It definitely describes many situations occurring.
Love is everywhere but slowly hatred begins to sink in and take its place. We've all hated or despised someone or something so bad that we, at that instant want to harm it but then later regret it. Some regrets can be forgiven and taken back to make better. Other, on the other hand, make mistakes that can never and may never be forgiven, replaced or taken back willingly. We need to remember who we are and what we stand for and never let anger control you or your actions. Always think before you act because every act has a reaction and not always is it a positive one. Its petrifying how local news spreads the work of siblings or friends killing one another over foolish things. You would think that common blood would stop these actions but, yet they dont. We seem to lack love and respect and we're in desperate need to find it once more.
“Mislove” has become a staple in modern society. Our need to best everyone in everything and to have more of anything was instilled in us since the same time we were taught to “love” “mommy and daddy”. As we grow older, that need only becomes stronger and the urge to satisfy that thirst becomes intense. We go to farther lengths to get what we want, starting with lying. The lies become more elaborate and actions begin to replace words. Then one day you hurt someone you care about in the process, but you get what you wanted, after that you become numbs to the consequences. That is the process of “mislove”. On a much larger scale including many more people you have the most decisive and oldest form of resolution, war. Wars cause humans to betray everything they have in common with whoever it is they are in conflict with, even if they are physical or genetic. Civil wars are an extreme case where sometimes even families go against each other. Hatred is a very important part of reality and being a realistic person I can identify with this quote.

Someone once said: "All generalizations are false, including this one." And this statement is just that. A wild assertion based on impulse rather than rationale. I accept the fact that this world is full of imperfections, and throughout history a great deal of hardships have come from mankind's hatred and prejudice. This hatred sprouts from a few individuals hatred, and spreads like a viral infection. Even though hatred spreads so easily, I believe that; for the most part, human's natural intentions are pure and a vaccine for this infection is commonly found. Simply put, I don't believe that most humans hate each other, as this statement indirectly states; because “A mislove so strong that even common blood can't overcome” can only be defined as hatred.

I believe that this quote gives an accurate perception towards love and hate nowadays, you see this every day in person and on TV. I believe what this quote is trying to say is that hate is so overcoming, so powerful that it can tear up families, those who share common blood. Hate is a strong emotion however most people don’t know what hatred truly is and what it means. Nowadays people allow silly things like their pride get in the way for love towards their common blood or families, and they call this hate when what it really is, is nothing but a dumb argument over nothing important. In today’s world that scenario plays out in families and causes wives to leave husbands and friends to leave those who have always been there for them. Many say that love is blind but hatred is the causes the darkness the takes our vision away, and causes these situations to unfold.
This is all i got in 10 mins.

correction: Many say that love is blind but hatred is the causes, the darkness that takes our vision away, and causes these situations to unfold.
Blood is thicker than water. And the blood which travels through our veins which connect us to the group of our common people of both past and present. Even though it is common to mislove those of another group, to mislove one of your own is peculiar, unheard of, and more so uncommon. As a common group of people, it is a goal, no matter which group, to be the driven force behind one another to embellish in the process of success, as a group. For centuries blacks have been inferior to the likings of most whites. In the novel “Their eyes were watching God,” by Zora Neale Hurston, Joe Sparks is man who dreams of having his voice heard by any means necessary. His initials intentions once he arrives to Eatonville are to establish it as a town of that equal to the whites and offer the blacks the same privileges in their town. With great power, comes great responsibility. Unless you know how to manage that responsibility, it will also be followed by great hatred. We now live in a society where mislove and hatred has crossed the borderlines of blacks vs. whites and has resulted in “black on black crimes,” in many situations, worse. Now-a-days mislove is not only color blind, yet it has caused music artist to disrespect one another through songs, countless loss of lives due to countries in battle over nothing more than “the last man standing” sometimes, even a friend against friend. Mislove is more apocalyptic than a plague, and universally disastrous leaving no one safe. I don’t believe this quote because there is a way to negotiate around the problem and find an alternate path to avoid the seed of ignorance from rooting itself into the hearts amongst various groups of common people. I do, however, believe mislove is evitable. What may not seem right at first just might be the best thing to ever happen to you.

Anger, disappointment, or hatred doesn't discriminate whether your black, white, family, friends,or foes; in fact, it can't even tell the difference. It just lashes out when it wants to, and spills out of the bottle when it needs to. It drowns anyone that is near them, even if they don't want to bear the damage. We swim in this huge spill and have been swimming for as long as the Earth could remember. It's so common to see hatred amongst anybody that it eventually becomes the first thing you see in the morning instead of your alarm clock. It even becomes common to see in this book that I read called The Book of Lost Things . The setting takes place during World War II, and you encounter with this boy that goes by the name of David. David was close to his deceased mother. He cherished and looked up to her all the time. He loved his parents being together, and refused to see his dad marrying another woman until they forcefully stretched his eye lids open. His dad got married, and to David's eyes, he felt as though his dad betrayed his mother's love. David developed a "mislove" to his family from then on. In this situation, the setting of World War II in itself is an example of hatred. To top it all of, David disliking his own dad and refuse to forgive him is another example that supports my stand point. Hatred is so strong, that even blood -- a thick liquid substance -- can't clog the spill.

In the process of finding love there isn't many prople that true love because love is a undiscrible feeeling. Love, hatred, joy, sadness, meloncholy all of these are feeling but can anyone actually respond to anyone of them in any specific way. yea we assume that anger is when you are in utter dispare but wgat is dispare? when we say that you are joyous what is it that we really mean? Therefore qouting Mrs. Hurston "Most people [don't]love one another nohow, and this mislove is so strong that even commmon blood can't overcome it all the time." can she true begin or attempt to speak about these unexplainable feeling, these irrational actions that fools perform on daily basis. These emotions that no one is even sure to believe that exsit within one life pumping mechanical machine known as the human heart. Must this be a subject yet so fragile but difficult to explain and express with reasoning. Must everyone foolishly use these words in a way that anyone can misinterpret them and use them against one another. If these are the words that is what they are supposed to be then why must we be ethe creaters of distruction use words that was ment only fo harmony and transquility. And yet these imbisiles of the modern day has changed their meanings to being use for insaults and arrogant behavior only because they themselfs do not uderstand what it is that love and hate true mean and for this I can disagree with this quote only because the blood of loved ones or of caring people need to find a way to express the meanings and so these misguided youngsters to the path of understanding the meanings of the words even before they use them in the wrong sense.
"Most humans [don't] love one another no how, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time." ~ Zora Neale Hurston
Human mislove can be brought on by jealousy, envy, and rage toward others. It can turn best friends into worst enemies and sometimes the targets are those people and others would see as your kind. There is a reason that the term blind fury exists. When the mislove builds up anyone can feel the aftermath and the first people to go are usually the ones who would’ve been the last. In current events we see more and more crime toward people of the same race. The most obvious are gangs made up of blacks and Latinos that thrives in America’s ghettos. You would expect them to go after whites, Asians, or middle easterners, but instead they go after their own blood. More blood is shed this way then any war can bring. In Zora Neale Hurston’s novel “Their Eyes Were Watching God” Joe Starks, an ambitious man with goals of creating a town free from the tyranny of whites, ends up becoming the tyrannical figure that he and the other townspeople hated so much. The common blood that united the town was not strong enough to overcome the fact that they were one people.
The love of family is the strongest love there is. There is nothing that can break a true families love,no matter what. I disagree with this quote because there are plenty of people in the world who don't love others and the only people they seem to care about and show affection to is their own blood family

“Collective fear stimulates herd instinct, and tends to produce ferocity toward those who are not regarded as members of the herd.”
Bertrand Russell
This powerful and impressive quote fully captures the truth behind slavery in the old days. White men were afraid that once African Americans were free they would have to compete for jobs, land and liberty. Though, hatred has existed in our world since the beginning of time and it will never cease to exist, slavery and racism is one of the most hurtful and straight-out monstrous form of hate that has ever existed. Yes, blacks and whites are a different race, however, our ancestors forgot that we are all part of the human race, which is even more significant. We were all created equal under God.
Nevertheless, there is hatred not only between races, but also between family members. Same blood. Now more than ever, I see in the newspaper an article about a man who killed his wife, or a man who killed his two sisters. It is horrifying to me that someone would kill their own blood. It scares me to death and it breaks my heart to think about how God’s most perfect creation has turned against each other in such an evil way. Family, the most precious thing in life, has been corrupted by its members.
Jealousy is a key factor that triggers hate. As humans we are sinners, and therefore we only want what is best for ourselves. Despite loving each other, we submit to the temptation of hurting one another in order to benefit us. This is a shame, but as a realistic person I have to admit that hate is never going to go away. The only thing we could do is try to suppress it as much as possible, and even if we can’t, we can still control our actions as much as possible and not wish malice on other people. We are all linked together, and therefore we should all regard ourselves as one.

It’s sad when relatives show a constant rage towards each other. What hurts even more, is when some of this sadness is due to an innocent mistake that at times is never forgiven. I used to think that love was perfect just like in movies until I opened myself up to reality, and noticed it wasn’t. Unfortunately, in some cases, there are families with so much hatred that they go for years without speaking. I believe that a family is where loved is supposed to be the strongest because that is where you are supposed to turn to when all others fail you. I’ll never forget when I was in ninth grade and had a best friend who was like my sister; we did everything together and thought we were going to be by each other’s side like peanut butter and jelly no matter what. Until the day that we got into a minor disagreement and it was over. I felt that I spent all that time with my “best friend” for no reason because that friendship was never true. Therefore, this proves that "Most humans [don't] love one another nohow, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time."

Hiding in our souls, is a feeling that devours every other emotion of love. It has no restrictions, since it blinds the heart, and it hinders logic to distinguish between the tides of blood, and enemies. Hatred or “mislove”?.....same venom that is born is us all. As humans, our feelings sometimes go against our morals. I support this quote, even though I wish it would be wrong. Hatred is not always the emotion that fills our heart, but there is not doubt that every being has once been shelter of this greatest enemy. We don’t always show it towards those who have mistreated us, but also in moments of madness, towards those we love unconditionally. For example, I know I would give my life for my sister in a second, and would not even think about it twice, but there are moments were actions make me feel certain opposition against that love, or how I would say, a sneaky hatred for my blood. Hatred is not only born with us, it is also thought, but that which is spontaneous has no justification or indifference towards others.

Love the most precious feeling that life has to offer to nature gratuitously. In the contrary, we hatred the most malicious feeling a human or living thing can bear. Love is created by the ones around you, mainly by your family. You learn what love is, and even sense the desirable taste of it. Love comes from everywhere, from your family, your friends, and even from your pets. However, just how you can love someone who’s not your family, you can hate someone who is, sadly but true. No matter whose genes you carry, or what blood goes through your veins, you will hate and detest the person who made you cry and suffer for something unfair and injustice. For instance, do you really think a person will love their parents, for raping them, beating them, abounding them, for treating the like a worthless trash object? Even though hatred is only putting more pain and weight on yourself and humanly wrong, but some humans can’t help but to hate when carry a load of tragedies. Love is what gives to someone freely with no charge, but hates is gained by the pain a person causes, having to be related or not. Also you can see Janie’s portrait in, “Their Eyes Were Watching God.” She mentions that she hated her grandmother, for making her marry and love someone who she couldn’t stand. Adding to having her grandmother destroy her dreams of having the sky as the limit, of trying to reach”beyond the horizon”, limiting her into doing what she wanted. Not even Janie could stop the feeling of hating her own grandmother; it’s something we can’t stop but feel. We are taught, yes that we need to love and forgive our family no matter what, but there moments in people lives and situation that one’s hate cannot be controlled.

Each person view Love differently..some believe in love and some don't. Some people replaced it with lust and those two are completely different. Although there is a huge part of lust within love. How do You view it? What is love, really? Did you find true love? Does it really exist? Do you believe in love at first sight? Do you always end up with your true love? or do you sometimes grow apart? Im really confused whether to believe in it or not! I personally don't believe in it anymore, because I believe that love has lost its meaning... you rarely see a couple who ''truly'' love each other. It's only a word that people throw around to lure others into a false sense of security. True love disappeared along with the "Good" of society. There is no such thing as love and never will be.

Topic: "Most humans [don't] love one another nohow, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time." ~ Zora Neale Hurston
The world that surrounds us is filled with hate. As that hate and mislove grows throughout the hearts of the humans it preys on, children are raised learning its hideous ways. It is those children who keep it alive and the generations who continue to consume its addicting poison. Mislove has gotten to a point where it attacks every person on the planet. Family, friends, co workers, and so on are affected. For example, war splits families every single day. When a husband, son, grandson, father, nephew, cousin, is sent to war and never comes back, mislove and hate have conquered that family. It is the hate between our country and the opponent that allows hate to pull out it's treacherous claws and shred our hearts and souls to scraps. How is it possible that a feeling can be so powerful, so deadly that it is capable of ruining the lives of millions? It is a question that cannot entirely be answered and will haunt my generation and the generations that will follow it's devious path as well.

When you think of love you think of happiness and almost total harmony between one another. This was true back in the day. Nowadays love is rare almost as rare as an eclipse. It still exist but it's hard to find and for it to be true. Hatred seems to be taking over the world as we can see with current events happening from the wars around the world to the racial discrimination and killings between one another. This quote is very true because the hatred and lack of love has become so serious that sometimes not even blood can prevent this hatred between one another. Almost every other day you can see in the news a case of a older brother killing a little one or a husband murdering his own family. This is why i must agree with the quote one hundred percent. Society and humans are on a crash course to destroying themselves and only knowing hate and nothing else.

Envy, anger, and jealousy, all characteristics of hate. Hate is something that has been around since before we were born. We weren’t made with the mentality to love every single person, yet we weren’t made with the mentality to hate every single person. Love and hatred is something that grows inside of us slowly as time goes by. It is the humane thing to love those of the same blood, like our mother father, brother, or sister. The sad part is that a lot of the hatred towards one another is for those of the same blood. Take an example, in Their eyes were watching God, Janie feels this mislove towards her grandmother for the bad life she has had. Right here, it shows how it doesn’t matter how close you are or were to a person, you can grow hatred towards them by accumulating anger against them. The thing with us humans is we don’t learn to forgive each other or just not hate. If we feel hatred we wont let ourselves love. Love is the most treasured and cherished feeling anyone can feel, but it is usually shut off by people’s ignorance.

The ambiguity is so immense that I cannot even contest the quote. With all of the wise men with PhD’s in the world, a quote with horrid grammar has been the one to humble me into a simple yes-man. That said, the quote isn’t really saying anything. Most people dislike most people, and you would be hard-pressed to find people who would disagree. Hatred may cross some moral boundaries, nothing to see here. “Cereal does not go well with milk,” would cause more controversy.
Even relationships are a selfish undertaking since you are with the other person because it is in your interest, whether it be due to enjoyment or financial sense. I don’t love Stephen Colbert, but his existence brings enjoyment to mine. In a world where “sorry” and “thank you” are all too common, even the perception for words like “love” are blurring.

“Hate” and “love” are two very strong words that society uses on a daily basis, as if they meant nothing. As time has passed, it seems like hatred has grown and people have forgotten, or chosen to neglect, how to care and truly have love for others. The well-known James Baldwin once said, “I imagine one of the reasons people cling to their hates so stubbornly is because they sense, once hate is gone, they will be forced to deal with pain.” It is unbelievable how people can tell one another how much they detest each other, yet take forever to say “I love you.” People all over the world seem to resolve everything with hatred and a lost of communication, whether the issue is with an acquaintance, friend, or even family member.
Thus, this brings me to a wonderful quote said by Zora Neale Hurston, "Most humans [don't] love one another nohow, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time." This line really touched me, because I find it absolutely ridiculous how human beings can go years without speaking to their relatives over a fight or misunderstanding. A perfect example of this was one of my cousins, from my dad’s side of the family, a couple of years back. She was about 20 something years old when she fought with her mother over a boyfriend and moved out. My cousin swore she would never look at my aunt’s face again, and that she “hated her living guts”. About 2 years after they lost communication, my aunt died in an accident, and my cousin went hysterical. This story ties back to the quote said by Hurston, because my cousin’s fury and hate was so strong that it overcame her, making her oversee the fact that she was rejecting her own blood, and most importantly the woman that gave birth to her. This just goes to show how people can be blinded for so long by hate, to the point where only something as tragic as a death can make them realize what they did wrong.

"Hate" is such a strong disgraceful word, yet used very commonly. Love is supposed to be what creates the world. However, with that love comes attached a string of hatred and even in the best and most loving families it can happen. In addition, when you are forced to love someone and marry them the "love part" never happens even if you have something very powerful like children. Human beings because of their mishaps in life are very cold to one another. What can happen is that those children never learn about loving someone and caring about them. So as the generation grows on they are not aware of that love. If we really think about this mislove between common blood is it really because humans don't love each other or because they don't learn how to love someone?

“Most humans [don’t] love one another nohow, and this mislove is so
strong that even common blood can’t over it all the time.”
-Zora Neale Hurston
It does not surprise me that even in Zora’s time people hated each other on such an alarming level, so as to compel her to write such a quote. Hate amongst humans goes back ages, to the beginning of time. Brothers killing brothers, children killing fathers, and mothers killing children, yes we have all gone to hell. We have become a completely degenerate race. We are for the most part uncapable to love or feel sympathy. For example, when you see the homeless on the street begging for at least a penny what do you think runs through peoples minds? From personal experience I can tell you that they think of those homeless people as lazy, insignificant, good for nothing, scum of the earth, drunks. But I have had the opportunity of a life time to talk with some of them and find out that they are just people whose life have not gone the way they’ve planned. One man I met was a drunk at one point at life; his wife, mother, and father had all died within a year’s time. But he was no longer a drunk; he was actually trying to find his three children he had left behind. No one would ever even try to listen to him. Eventually one rare sole from a TV station eared an episode on him and via this episode he found his two girls, with kids of their own (his son is now a cop in NJ, if you were wondering). Although this man’s life has turned for the better what about all the poor unfortunate soles out there with stories of their own that will never be told because human kind cannot spare some time to listen. No sir, humans don’t love each other no way, no how. What a shame because the world would be such a better place if we did.

As I peek thru my window, I observed my cousin getting into my brothers' car which I was dying to ride to. At my young age, I still remember the Adeline rush of anger the came thru me like water in the ocean, in vast amounts. That was a sign of great envy and jealousy. Zora Zeale Hurston states I her book, "Their Eyes Were Watching God," that sometimes the fact that people are family doesnt solve the puzzle of problems the might having going on. For example, a family of four people, a mother, a father, a very outgoing, brilliant young athlete and a conservative, ugly sibling. Unfortunately enough there will be time where the parents would decide to choose favorites. To which would result in the children having tremendous rivalry growing up, ending up with bad consequences. Furthermore, common blood is used as an emotional shield to hinder the actions taken upon individuals to one another. Many people have lost their loving human nature due to all the hatred going on in the world like the wars and economical crisis such as the recession that the United States is going thru currently. The human nature has turned into ambition and has made selfish monsters out of us the people making us go to extremes such as stepping over our own siblings to get where we want to go. Basically taking pride in the success that comes with the pain of others.
My mind ponders and eats new knowledge and information everyday before I lay my body to rest. In my overall morals and ideals, it is wrong to succeed off the pain of others. therefore, I strongly agree with this quote , simply because no one is perfect in this world and we've all fallen under the temptation of taking immoral actions against one another, even when it comes down to common blood.

This quote, by Zora Neale Hurston, is a statement that clearly is speaking negatively about the lack of love that humans have for one another. She states that ordinary humans do not love one another, or show any compassion, and that this condition cannot even be saved by the blood, the innate unity of family. This is supported within many stories and pieces of literature, none more famous than the story of Cain and Abel, found within the holy bible. In this story, Cain is envious of his brother Abel and murders him in cold blood because of this green-eyed jealousy. Not even the bond of brotherhood and family could keep Cain from the "mislove" humans are born with.
Love is one of the most intense emotions felt by man; another is hate. Forcing youself to feel indiscriminate love is very unnatural. If you try to love everyone you only lessen your feelings for those who deserve your love. Hatred, on the other hand, can lead to many physical and emotional problems. In my opinion, anything used too freely loses its true meaning. Therefore, i believe people should love strongly and completely to those who deserve your love. You're not going to go around telling everyone how you love them?? By honestly recognizing and admitting to both hate and love, there is no confusing one emotin with the other. Without being able to experience ne of these emotions, you cannot fully experience the other. I agree with this quote because even humans of the same kin sometimes have repressed hatred against each other. These are just some emotions that not even family ties can interfere with.

Hate is a powerful emotion. Unfortunately, hatred is everywhere we go wether it be because of jelousy, race, sex, or religion. Sometimes people even hate for no reason at all. I believe that as much as we hope that there will be a day where people don't judge you and detest you for some of our imperfections or what image and stereotypes society gives you, that day will never come.Lamentably, there will always be ignorance in this world. It's sad to know that not only does this hate refer to strangers, but friends and even your own family members. How can you ever do something to hurt the people you are supposed to protect ? Siblings killing one another is something you hear about almost daily now and personally, I can't make sense of it. Hate less,Love more.

Love is the purest emotion in the world but also the deadliest. In the novel, “Their Eyes Were Watching God,” Zora Neale Hurston states that "Most humans (don't) love one another nohow, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time,” and with such passionate words the truth is uncovered. People now days seem to love the sight of destruction because the media is always informing the public on the new scandals that they’ve manage to surface. Shockingly, Family on family crime is the most common and the reasoning behind it always seems to be mislove. The blood that runs through a mother’s veins, should be able to overcome any problem that their child has but overtime that love has disintegrated into a mere particle of evolution. As time has pass by, blood related relationships are as vile as an Evil Villain trying to take over the world. Our world has evolved itself away from the fruits of what was written in the Bible and has transformed to utter chaos. Now who’s to blame for what has transpired? It lies in the very soul of one another; you see most humans should learn how to love each other, so that mislove will never have to be tested again, especially when it comes to kinship. May the world be a better place, one step at a time and may the good grasses pass to the human kind. .
Blood is blood regardless of how you see it. Same hue, same bitter taste; it’s the same for all no matter the circumstances. Why would hatred bestow exceptional treatment to those that share a general bond by an indistinguishable feature? We, humans, share this world yet there are numerous individuals that deride their fellow neighbors whether it is for their skin color, personal opinions, beliefs, and so forth. Hatred meets no boundaries; therefore, such scarlet fluid is no challenge for a villain who has divested millions from compassion. There are men or women that kill their families as well as brothers who kill their own flesh and blood. When don’t I hear that in the news? Most reasons would be jealousy, envy, gluttony, and greed, which; consequently, equals to loathing. We are all human; unfortunately, common blood nowadays has become beyond irrelevant.

Love and hate most of the time knows no bounds. The balance between loving your own blood and loving a person from the outside is very contrasting. with your family you are learned to love them unconditionally. Although this is true, hatered knows no bounderies. For example my mother to me is my life, although she is my own flesh and blood there are times that she can drive me insane, and vise versa. Most humans don't love one another nohow, and this mislove is so strong that even common blood can't overcome it all the time."this quote written by Zora Neale Hurston represents everything that i have commented on. Mislove (hatred) can overcome the love and bond to even blood families. To my understanding us as humans react to our emotions, and these emotions are the same to anyone, family members and non family members.
